Christ is risen!
Easter is a perfect reminder that God’s will is stronger than any human plot. It's a reminder that even dark and seemingly hopeless circumstances can lead you to hope beyond what you can imagine. It's a reminder to be faithful in waiting for the promised redemption.
 
Ukraine desperately needs these reminders. Thank you, Jesus, for offering them freely at no cost to us and a great cost to you.

 
From Ukrainian president Zelensky:
Congratulations to Ukrainians and all Christians celebrating Easter today.
A holiday that reminds us of the strength of the spirit that will not allow the darkness to win. He will not let his will be overshadowed. And which unites - unites families, peoples and continents.
Now there is not a day or night when Russian terror does not try to break our lives. This night - again rockets, again "shaheds" against people. But we defend ourselves, we persevere, our spirit does not give up and knows that death can be averted. Life can win.
 
May all prayers for protection from evil be heard today. May faith unite all good hearts and strengthen those who defend their home. And may real peace become closer for all of our Ukraine and all peoples who suffer from wars.
