The casualities on both sides of this war are horrific. Mothers in Russia are beginning to speak out as their sons go missing or are killed. They wear white scarves as a form of protest. I often think of these young men who belong in our Discipleship schools rather than on a battlefield.
Can we pray today for our Russian Ywamers who are beginning their DTS training. 16 of them are beginning their course in one city and three more are planned this year. They do their outreaches to unreached areas of Russia and sometimes to Turkey, Mongolia and even Africa. They have a heart for the world. In spite of the conflict, these young people are building the Kingdom of God in Russia. They are determined to continue in evangelism and discipleship. They have many obstacles to overcome. Can we pray for them? Pray for perseverance, for protection, for financial provision (a huge challenge in these present circumstances}. And let’s continue to pray for an end to this war.
