Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised in the city of our God!

Today, on the first Advent Sunday, many people light the candle that symbolizes Hope. It's a reminder that we need to anticipate the coming of the promised Messiah and the fulfillment of God's promises.
We also hold on to Hope and wait on the Lord's deliverance.
 
Can we pray for hope to be released in a new way this Christmas season. As we sing our Christmas carols and hear the music over the airwaves and shopping malls, can we capture these songs as prayers for Ukraine these next weeks. If ever prayer for hope was needed, it is now.
